@janek Thank you so much. I started out with very orange peppers in a deep blue and white bowl. In the photo the white of the bowl had too blueish a tone. I did the editing using Picnik (the paid version which is nevertheless quite inexpensive). I wish I could remember specifically what I did. I know I used the "pencil sketch" effect and at some point I think I turned it black & white and then using the fader in that effect brought back some color. I'm not sure, but I think I used the same tool - the b&w to select the area just off center where I brought back more color. I want to learn how to use Adobe Elements (junior Photoshop), but I'm finding the tools in Picnik are really pretty extensive. Thanks for looking at my photos; I took a quick look at yours and saw some beautiful flower shots. When I have more time later today I'm going back.
@reba Thank you for the explanation. I wasn't sure if this was a photograph of a pen and watercolour wash picture you had painted or a photo editing job. I didn't want say the wrong thing.Whatever it came out well. I think your pictures are in a different league from mine.
