@moonpig - yes - it was when i was trying to catch a pic of a last colorful leaf on a bare branch (I ended up somewhere else with that one), but I just noticed last night how pretty the little orange maple leaf was whipping around in the wind while the sturdier stuff stayed still.
Wow, I love it. Did you try to do that? Or did it just happen. I love when you download all your photos and you find something unexpected in your bunch.
@christiehicks No - I was trying to catch a photo of a last leaf (I did that subsequently on another day). This was one of my pretty vine maples - the leaves turn a pretty orange. This was light and blowing around so much I couldn't get the shot I wanted. Later I noticed that I liked the shot I got with the heavier branches stable while the leaf blew around.
