What is it about birds on a wire? They are like magnets to a camera! Nicely done. I like the b&w and the processing in this.

This must be one of those translucent frames in picnic?? I love the drama and t he effect, Your handling is very artistic,

@annamaker - thanks Anna Mae - I did in in Photoshop Elements - though I think it could have been done in Picnic too.
January 2nd, 2012
Reba, I have Photoshop Elements; what did you use? Didn't know I could do this.

@annamaker - Terrific! I just discovered this really simple edit - it looks more complicated than lots I've done that took me sooo many steps and a lot of effort. It's under - guided edits, photographic effects, out of bounds effect - it allows you to select the part you want to emphasize, then as I recall either the rest fades back or you choose how much it fades and you choose the amt. of drop shadow. I'll look forward to seeing what you do with it if you give it a try. I've seen much more complicated instructions for things like a parrot - in which you make a border and have the tail going from within the frame to out of the frame - I actually like this one better than some of the others I've seen and it took me about 5 mins. max.

@annamaker - oops - it's under "Photo Play" not "Photographic Effects"
so guided edit - to photo play - to out of bounds

I know I commented on this yesterday and added it to my favorites but as niether is there, I couldn't have saved it. Thanks for the explanation. This is such a simple and effective picture. FAV
