@leebo81 - no (blush) - just an incredibly incompetent job of erasing unsightly lines; i knew I was having trouble with my contacts today and that everything looked hazy - I didn't see how bad this was until I really enlarged it - oops
@leebo81 - oh no offense taken - I'm just laughing at myself; I was fairly desperate for something to post today; knew I was not seeing the screen that well; and essentially slapped something up that all in all I liked after I thought I removed those two ugly lines. That's what I get for not giving it my best today.
@reba after taking a closer look at the photo, i just realised that they are power lines! I think maybe you could have gotten away with leaving them in as for me, the main point of focus in the photo is the corner of the building and "adidas" sign.
@leebo81 - you know I'd seriously consider replacing it with the lines in original, but don't know if I'd do that since a couple of other people have bothered to comment; i really appreciate your thoughtful comments; what was going of for me was a desire for that pure cobalt sky to be unbroken.
@timdewland - at various times during my project I've tried to think of how to portray the Adidas Hdqtrs. (on N. Greeley, south of Rosa Parks Way). They took over the old Bess Kaiser Hospital/Clinic bldgs. many years ago and I love the facade they applied to those formerly ugly old bldgs. Some of the buildings now have the red patches as seen in this photo; others have yellow, green and blue. I know some people don't like the effect, but I love it and it always cheers me when I go past. I may try some kind of a collage or more individual shots.
Nice composition and colors. LOVED our sky today! I don't know about Portland, but down here in Junction City it's been fog fog FOG, and the sun and blue sky are SO NICE lately!!
We drove by this site with Chan yesterday - and were so focused on the BIG sneakers, we missed this corner...hope you do a collage of the campus... (Can we put that blue sky in a tube of paint??)
