Year 2 Day 103
Ok for a change I'm doing a collage. It's of the people I encountered/nearly encountered today. The main pic is Jackie who runs the sandwich shop near work. You can see the price of veggie samosas is now 80p which sadly means she now says "385" instead of "365" ( http://365project.org/rich57/other-album/2010-09-20) when I order my lunch! Then clockwise from the top right:
1. waiting for the bus to work.
2. as I walked back to the office with my sandwich
3. waiting for the bus to work
4. same as 3 but we exchanged smiles as she pulled a ridiculously large trolley up the pavement
5. as I came up out of the sandwich shop. I stood back to let them past as the pavement (sidewalk if you're from the US) is fairly narrow here. Thus, we exchanged pleasantries
6. as I left the house through the front door this morning, he's working on a house over the road. No communication.
7. as I got off the bus to work.
Think I might try this again some day, this was more an after the fact job.
Now the challenge is to talk to each person you meet and get to know them a little bit. Dang I can't believe your package hasn't arrived yet....maybe tomorrow
