Everytime it rains we get a big old puddle here on the path near home. Almost everyone in the neighbourhood adopts the tactic of a tight-rope type manoeuvre along the line of cobbles that separates the path from the bog-like grass. You sometimes see "traffic"-jams of people trying to negotiate from both directions. I've been after a shot of someone attempting the trick for ages and today when we left the house in a torrential downpour I knew what to do. I legged it down the slope, traversed the cobbles and got my camera out ready for the others. Of course, Jack came flying along behind me and didn't worry about the water, just splashing straight through the puddle without a care but the other three were more cautious and so easy prey!
I love how their coats and the fence in the back add splahses of color to the splashy puddle there! That is so quirky that every one does that. Good capture finally!
