Yorkshire Landscape With Added Poppy by rich57

Yorkshire Landscape With Added Poppy

From the 365 rambling society day out on Sunday. This is my obligatory landscape shot as requested by Juliette (@sparkle). Not really sure if it is a landscape as its not exactly a wide open vista but on the other hand it does include a dog (@poppy) an almost lone tree and two 365ers.
Great countryside!!

What a great shot. I love the stone wall and the lone tree. This is how I imagine the English countryside to be. One day I will see it for myself.

I would love to see this in person--this kind of countryside

Beautiful countryside. Truly makes me want to go for nice long hike (we did some while in England in August and had a great time. So lovely there).

Looks so enticing - lots of damp greenness and bubbling brooks. Have another 365 rambling day and I'll come, my walking boots need dusting off! Or @sparkle Juliette should organise one - she has lovely trees and countryside stuff her neck of the woods ;)

Ah yes she's at her best in these places. We should go every day...

So if there is an almost lone tree and a dog, ok for landscape!
But how did it happen practically? You looked at the landscape, you saw this great opportunity so you ran out down the path to take the picture?

Just realised you've blown juliettes lone tree cover by showing the second one:/)

isn't that part of the Pennine Way? (partly because I've walked it and Grassington is engraved on my memory - the campsite was near the canal)

@shanne yeah it probably is, I wasn't in charge of the map!
