They were both stood waiting for something, not together, just near each other. Wasn't a bus-stop either. Nor was any smoking or texting taking place. Couldn't work it out but they stood still long enough for a candid.

heh, I thought at first she was wearing a very large and elaborate hat! Fun to imagine waht they were doing, weave alittle story around the scenario! :-)

i think they are waiting to surprise someone who will be coming to the building outside. they're pretending not to know each other and when the person turns up they will throw of their coats (because underneath they've got showgirl outfits on) grab the balloons and start singing Stevie Wonder's version of Happy Birthday. that's what i think.
