I took a shine to the doors of Bruges and stopped to photograph quite a few. This gent came out of this one as I was shooting it. We had a brief chat about doors, mostly me saying I liked the ones in his town and him nodding and smiling back at me...
I'm a fan of doors too. I wouldn't have thought you were a nut job, but agree with @andycoleborn that this gentleman probably did LOL. My eyes also keep resting on the "10" beside the door. I'm not used to house numbers be painted on like that.
