Crimson

This old sable brush has been with me for a long, long time, so I thought it deserved a moment of notoriety. I've discovered why professional photographers always seem to have an assistant or two bustling around. I needed at least one more hand to get this shot. For future reference, if you bite a cable release just right, it works perfectly well. But don't.
Great composition :-)

I like this, it has a good capture of motion. Sounds like it may of been easier to set up an interval timer? I have a IR remote for my camera I use ALL the time, other than the tripod it's one of my most used accessories and only cost $30.

@tryingforsighs @rickmagnell Thanks, Rachel. Rick, the timer would have been a good idea, had I thought of it. The information I picked up on IR releases said they only work from in front of the camera, and I spend most of my time on the other side.

I assumed it would only work from the front too but mine seems to work from behind as well. I don't see any magic sensor on the back of my camera either.
