Rank amateur: spend as much time as possible in my kayak when in Maine but the gators in Florida make me nervous so I stick to the trails when down south..
Recently retired speech clinician. Snapped my first picture over 50 years ago.
Started getting serious about 5 years ago with a Canon S5IS then moved up to a Sony Alpha 500 a couple of years back.
Recent workshop sessions with excellent nature and macro photographers are humbling me to the extreme but I love the excitement. Like to think I'm getting a little better every day. I'm sure trying.
Critque of any of my photographs is enthusiastically welcomed. All the more so if accompanied by suggestions for how I can improve. Looking forward to building my "365 file" and following others efforts.
