For the last 4 weeks we've not had a washing machine, so have been doing a lot of hand washing. Today our new machine arrived :-) While I've been hand washing, I've had extra time to pray and my thoughts have gone to those who don't have fresh, clean water to drink, let alone being able to wash their clothes in clean water.

I was without a washing machine for months. I quite enjoyed the trips to the laundrette in town. Gave me an hour 'off' while the washing was doing. Time for a coffee or a walk in the park. I miss that hour of 'me time' ;-)
