A very strange and unusual occurrence. Most of the day was clear, but a thick layer of mid-level cloud cover moved in from the south. This view faces north just before sunset with the Nashville city skyline partly visible in the distance. Notice the sharp leading edge dividing the clouds and sky.
spectacular... we often get something we call a chinook arch over the prairies coming from the mountains in Calgary... it looks just as this, but an arch instead of such a straight line... this timing is stellar. Nice job.
