This morning (3/1/17) just after 7am, a powerful line of severe thunderstorms roared through the area, producing 100 mph winds and large hail at my house in Brentwood, along with a tornado that caused major damage to part of my town and neighboring towns. Hundreds of homes and businesses were damaged, and there were many trees down and debris scattered everywhere. Thankfully, no one was severely hurt, and the tornado missed my house by just one mile to the south. But this was the closest I have been to one. It was both an exciting yet scary experience.
@kali66 nope, but I wish. I'm not a morning person, so I'm usually not very active during that time. Also, this tornado was rain-wrapped, so it would have been hard to see anyway.
