The robot was done using clone stamp which was very fiddly in Photoscape. I really need to take the plunge and trial out Photoshop.
Matt, don't forget to also try Adobe Lightroom 3 which you can download a 30 day trial of from Adobe. It's got many of the features of PhotoShop targeted at photographers and with PhotoShop CS5 Full retailing in the UK at around £600 O.o and Lightroom at around £210 it's far more affordable.
Also, the workflow of taking, importing, converting (from RAW if you shoot in it), "fixing" and outputting is much clearer in Lightroom.
