Agatha by sabresun

Agatha

(Slight crop)

I've always thought of this house as something that could be from an Agatha Christie story. The other side of the wall has a large drop (it slopes away heavily too) as you can gauge by how far the house sits below the wall line compared to the level of the grass walkway on the right.

Additional info on the house -

It is called Selwyn House and is a grade II listed building (listed in 1952) It was built around 1780, which may be surprising from the side view, but it looks quite different from the front. The dip that I mention was a medieval moat. It is now a series of apartments and if you're curious you can have a look inside here - http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-18146778.html

Man, I would LOVE to live in a place with so much history! But 395,000 pounds is just a bit too steep for my budget. Great angle to shoot from, it really gives the full view of this historic home.

I really like the perspective. What an interesting building. It's hard to believe it is so old.
