I watched these very young ducklings (which must be barely a few days old) follow their mother skirt in, out and along the reeds' edges for quite a while. They completely disappeared within the hidden camouflaged areas of the reeds at certain points, only to emerge out of them a few minutes later at another unexpected point, and in this way, cleverly circled gradually around the whole of the pond without tiring themselves out. The mother knew exactly what she was doing pace-wise judging by how healthy and content they all appeared together. It was really very nice to observe them. :)
Nb- I had to clone stamp out a branch that went diagonally across the shot. I'm hoping you can't tell
where it was now that I've told you.
*Sigh* those little ducklings just make me go weak at the knees! And mother duck looks so wise and content, not at all stressed by her nine little charges.
Well done on the p/shopping! No sign of it to my eyes...
This title also cracked me up, as this is all my 4-year-old kept asking on an hour and a half drive...how much longer?
