All my writing is about the recognition that there is no single reality. But the beauty of it is that you nevertheless go on, walking towards utopia, which may not exist, on a bridge which might end before you reach the other side. --- Marguerite Young
I noticed this little branch crossing over a small stream while I was looking out for further elusive wood creatures*. I'll bet it's quite a useful one for some of the wildlife around here when it rains and the water level begins to rise to impossible critter heights. It's not too hard to imagine the odd field mice or maybe thrice (sorry, bad rhyming going on here), scampering across to avoid getting wet feet or tails.
*Incidentally, I've found a few more wood creatures, a troll's hand, a wolf (or might be a ram depending on how you look at it), a hobgoblin and a sort of Japanese (samurai-ish) face.
Be careful in those woods, might come across talking trees or Witchie-Poo or even the great H.R. Pufnstuf himself! Enjoying your "Woodland Creatures" series.
