Bekki is very kindly making this colourful camera strap for me, she's put hours into it. It will be folded into three and then wrapped around the existing shoulder strap, so that the main bit visible will be the stripy middle band. I think she's making a really good job of it. She's determined to finish it off before she flies back to the states on Tuesday morning, but I know there's still quite a lot of work involved with it so I'm not sure if that will be possible now timewise. Anyhow, I think it's lovely. :)
Nb- Last year, Bekki tried to teach me cross stitch as I wanted to try my hand at doing a small, square, Scandinavian design which would eventually end up as a drinks coaster. I thought I was doing okay (well, fair to middling) until she looked at it to finish it off, and then later told me that she'd had to unpick at least 35% of it. I'm still disputing that cruel percentage! I'm pretty sure there was nothing much wrong with it.
Nice shot and a great gift! I have the same scissors! Awesome idea Bekki! I used to be addicted to cross stitch, but then 365 took over. My nephew will be an adult by the time I finish his Noah's ark!
