Despite the treacherous night stage over the back of the sofa and the dodgy rain effects, the MG made it safely past the winning-line curtain to the rooftop of Desktop Tower.
I have a few versions of this idea. None of which really ended up quite as I intended. Some of the elements are better as stand alone photos, but I've decided to post the collage anyway as it was the original idea. To be honest, I got fed up of messing around with it. This is a diecast model MG that I once gave to my sister as a present. I thought she might like it being a classic design British sports car. A couple of months later, she gave it back to me saying that she wasn't keen on it (which may have been part of the plan. I.e give someone a present they might not like, but you do, so you can have it afterwards. Nah, I wouldn't do that. How can you think I would?) Some people just don't appreciate a good thing when they see it. The cheek of my sister! I've had it ever since and kept it basically stored within its box.
I thought it was high time it was due a run out. :)
I think it's a pretty creative idea..never seen an MG rally indoors...especially with rain. I like the collage, and glad to see the course was completed.
Hmmm, I wonder if that's why my husband gave me a set of new golf clubs? It backfired though, I went and learned how to golf, lol.
This is a super cool rain effect in this! What did you use?
@pwallis@alicestorm The rain effect was very easy. I've been using this very simple application recently as I'm all for making processing easier. It gives quite a variety of differing effects http://pixlr.com/o-matic/
M, Do not even say this is not a completely amazing bit of photography because, I would strenuously disagree. These are completely amazing pieces of art, each and every one of them. I love the B&W. It has such a nostalgic black and white movie feeling to it. I love this quite a lot.
This is really incredible! Total fave! I have a passion for minis and MG's (still listening to viva la vida on repeat BTW, which goes perfectly well with the spirit of freedom that convertibles have always summoned up for me!)
