Lovely focus here & I like your little house I think it is, in the window, it reminds me of a house night light my daughter had when she was tiny. It had a little bulb inside & the windows used to glow now her daughter has it in her bedroom !
@happypat Pat, it's a little, pottery German house that was a gift from when I visited Frankfurt a number of years ago. You can put a tea light inside it and it gives off a nice glow through the windows. It's quite nice as it throws flickering shadows across the walls (which I may photo at some point)
@digitalrn We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in the UK. I think it's a holiday that is local to America, although it always feels like we're missing out. The closest we get to a celebration at this time of the year is on November 5th, when we have Bonfire Night and fireworks (held to mark the failed gunpowder plot of Guy Fawkes when he tried to blow up the parliment in 1605) which is more of a warming get together around a bonfire with mugs of soup and hot potatoes and much waving of sparklers.
@sabresun hahaha :D you know it's just occurred to me that the name mistake may be a result of lack of sleep as well as the low lighting of the candle. if i am correct, it is 4am for you!!!
@laurentye It is very late here that is true. I spent ages on my 'Enter the dark' epic photo caption thing. Time for me to shut this thing down for the night.
@sabresun 4 am...4 am? (taps foot) What are YOU doin up at 4 am mister? I have 2 words for you...Body Clock. Course you are not allowed to know what time it is here right now..cause I am up for dreaded Black Friday and have to go to work at 3:30..and might appear a hippo-crit if you knew. heh.
