Warerfalls and streams by sabresun

Warerfalls and streams

There's something there
that mimics the traversing
of stresses and problems,
that seem to be washed away,
and carried downstream.

If only whilst caught mesmorised
in the ebb of the water's movement.
The sounds caught in the ear
like a deep, clear understood clarity.

Even if only then in that place
and for a moment,
it is something to enjoy,
offered naturally and free.

Watch the leaves and twigs
float away.

(one of my poems)
A lovely poem and a lovely place. I'm always most at peace, when I'm outside with nature all around me. :0)

@cjwhite This is true for me too. Nature and its surroundings for me, has acceptance like nothing else.

Fabulous on both counts, poem and image. Nature is refreshing but it can also be harsh :)

Have just had to stop myself writing a philosophical treatise (i.e ramble!) here. But it's always good to have a think.
Nice shot and poem - great to get the two working together.

Nature at its finest, a place where one is able to escape, moving to another dimension of this life. I love the times where I can go off into the quiet. ,
