I enlarged this and it's fantastic!!! That snowman may mean that there's life inside that gorgeous mansion . . maybe children. Yay! A family is just what should be living in there.
@digitalrn No, but most people think maybe a kid lives inside. They must not have read it is the Eli Lilly Estate on the Indiana Museum of Art Land. No one lives there you can tour it. Hope you get to come this way sometime, we have the largest children's museum in the world, for your grand kids.
Merry Christmas.. late but better than never.. and an early Happy New year. Luv this litttle snowman in front of the huge mansion... looks awesome, wish it was my house :-)
This was an instant fave for me. I love snowmen, and this one cracked me up. It's size compared to that mansion is the exact opposite of the giant snowmen we build in front of our little house. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas, Terry. I'm still catching up...
@lauriehiggins thanks Laurie , it is on a 100 acre site at the Indiana Museum of Art and inside it was all decorated for xmas, you would have loved it.
@myautofocuslife Liva, this is the home of Eli Lilly, owner of a huge manufacture of drugs. They invented prozac. It now sits on the 100 acre site of the Indiana Museum of Art. You can go on line and take a tour of the inside.
Just think if really a kid lived inside ...I would take him in for hot chocolate and cookies! Gorgeous mansion, would you please put in the agenda for next time I visit?
@deniseinindy I am on board, you and Lisa know everyone so lets start asking. I will get the 16 passenger van, and we will be off. Start making a list of some places we what to shoot. What a trip that would be. I will put a cooler and snacks in the van and we will take pictures until we fall over.
Such a fun thing to see.. You sort of expect folks that live in a house like that to not be "normal" enough to put in a snowman.. I dig the way it makes me rethink myself..
