It seems this frigid Maryland weather is making everything crunchy and brittle... even the photographers after just a few minutes of exposure ;-)

Wow looks so cold. Crunchy and brittle works both ways too. We have been in Canberra for a few days and the grass is crunchy and brittle there too but the temperature is 39 degrees c (102 f), very hot and dry and the grass is so brittle.
