This captures my post-holiday funk perfectly! I'm in Seattle too. Great shot!

I'll miss passing by the carousel on my way to the metro tunnel each day.
January 3rd, 2011
Excellent - every picture tells a story....
January 3rd, 2011
aww,what a shame!
January 3rd, 2011
Oh that's classic!
January 3rd, 2011
The bittersweet life of a carousel horse...from glory to cold storage rack. C'est la vie. Another great capture, Constance!
January 3rd, 2011
Aww what a shame its all over for another year
January 3rd, 2011
Great caption!
January 3rd, 2011
Neat shot, but kind of sad... :(
January 3rd, 2011
Great shot, it is tinged with sadness though. My photo today features a carousel horse, much smaller though lol Congrats to you too for making top 20 :)

That is too bad. They put up holiday decorations to fast and take them to too quickly.
January 3rd, 2011
Yes, it is so much fun while it lasts, but it seems like it is here and gone too quickly.
January 3rd, 2011
Awww, its kinda of sad. But here we are already preparing for the next holiday, Mardi Gras is only two months away.
January 3rd, 2011
There is something very sad about this.
January 3rd, 2011
Sad, I love the carousel. Knowing you, you will find some other fabulous things to photograph!
January 3rd, 2011
this is good... love the composition of this shot..

This could be a Blue Theme entry, being a little sad and blue, a wee tear at the passing of the season.
Nice.
January 3rd, 2011
So beautiful with a tiny hint of sadness. I love the colors!
January 3rd, 2011
Ha ha brilliant capture!
January 3rd, 2011
ah that's so sad great pic, though
January 3rd, 2011
Aww, this is sad. But you captured great detail
January 3rd, 2011
What a sad shot! Mind you, I'll be glad to be back at school!
January 3rd, 2011
So sad, but it looks more like the horses are bing put up, but of course that changes the meaning...
January 3rd, 2011
Oh dear! They look so un-magical handled like that~!!
January 3rd, 2011
I am sure the horses must need a good rest after all the riding they did over the holidays!
January 3rd, 2011
Oh, no! The fun is over!
January 4th, 2011
Hey, Constance...I sent that piggy bank photo to our development office and our bookstore people and suggested they try to find a cougar bank...told them it just didn't make sense to have a piggy bank! Will see if I get any response!
January 4th, 2011
@hwy61 That is great. They would sell a bunch I would think and also there are alot of cougar schools around!!
January 4th, 2011
Oh dear, the party's definitely over! Nice capture!
January 4th, 2011
Wow! Interesting how they break this down. I might be kinda creeped out if I saw a truck of carousel horses strolling down the street!
January 8th, 2011
