The Seattle Space Needle's 50th Anniversary On Saturday. Though the top of the Needle has been off-white for years, it's being painted its original color, "galaxy gold," for the anniversary.

Love it! I remember going up in the Needle during the World's Fair . I was about 5 years old, still remember vividly that feeling of being up so high! My dad was able to show me our car parked on the ground.
