Such an interesting comparative photo, Constance...the leashed child/the leashed dog...the child held in place by a leash/the children running and playing in the water. I'm not a fan of child leashing. I think it looks humiliating and restrictive. But then, I've never had the experience of dealing with a child who wouldn't, or couldn't, respond to reasonable rules and boundaries. So I'll leave it there...and hope the leash is a last ditch effort to keep that little girl safe. :(
