I love being out early in the morning - sometimes that is the only time one can see a glimpse of the sun. The water in this photo has become ice - in the foreground it is smooth, and out where the water is more open the ice is chunkier. Many years since this kind of thing has happened - I guess it's true that this has been a very cold winter!
