Exactly 44 years ago, I became a mother for the first time when our son. Patrick was born. It was on a day such as this one has been - after a very cold spring, from then on the weather was lovely. Perhaps it will be the same this year....
We are very proud of the man Patrick has become - a warm, caring and loving person and talented to boot. A dedicated Firefighter with Toronto Fire Department, an amazing double bass and bass guitar player, and a fun-loving family man, who continues to bring us joy as his parents.
Wishing you many more birthdays filled with love and laughter, Patrick - how is it possible to love you more with each passing day?
Although this photo was not actually taken on April 9, 2014, I wanted to honour my son by posting this pic here. Our paths did not cross on this day, unfortunately.
