A heavy rainstorm took our power out for a while - as it was still light, I was able to find and light some candles just in case it lasted for much longer. I really do like the soft golden glow that candles give - so much more comforting than electric lights - at least for a bit!
Beautiful light and nice grouping. Great shot. I agree that it is a comforting light but in the summer it can get to be way too warm if you have enough light to actually read by. Don't you wonder how our ancestors did all they did with that dim light?
