I have been having fun imagining the conversation that might have occurred between these two gulls. the one on the left is almost full grown, but not quite - you can see by the brown feathers in his chest that he's still got a way to go yet.
Perhaps he's getting some advice from his elder about what that strange being is before them with black things in front of the face? Or when it is a good time to fly away? Or whether just to ignore and enjoy the sunshine? Or what kind of fish is best to eat?
