Its Days Are Numbered.......

This was the old barn my granddaughter and I photographed two days ago. There are signs on the edge of the property announcing a 'Smart Centre' coming soon - this could be gone soon in favour of a shopping mall - another piece of history faded into oblivion.....

Karen & Heather - thank you for your comments - loads textures here - could have stayed much longer - although it was a bright sunny day it was very cold and my son and granddaughter were beginning to wilt! Karen - would that be David McPhail? I love his books too. Incidentally, my father-in-law's name was David McPhail, but he was not the children's writer!

Lovely shot of this old barn that is about gone. Sad to see these old Barns just go by the wayside but they sure make beautiful photos. I think here is something about them that we see the beauty in them even when they are at this stage. FAV
