This little raccoon was up in a tree in the park - watched as he very cautiously made his way down. He didn't seem at all afraid - he was this close to me but he was not at all threatening.
I'm a huge fan of raccoons...they visit my yard every night! We have a young one who's not at all afraid to take a marshmallow from my fingers...they use their paws to retrieve food, so I'm not afraid of biting! Your photo is terrific!
