Rejection by shannejw

Rejection

This is partly for the Get Pushed Challenge - http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/21051/get-pushed-82-monday-feb-10-to-sunday-feb-16 where I've been partnered with Gail @gailmmeek who challenged me to:

"I've had a browse through your pics and you have a great selection of styles. I wonder if I can challenge you to focus on emotions and expressions this week. Something that will trigger a response in the viewer. ... Does that sound life something you think you'd be able to enjoy doing?"

And this is what I meant to do yesterday but I couldn't find the flowers until tonight when I did a better search for them. They are roses for card making, I just like the scale with the mannequin.

It's also for the black and white bookclub B&W Bookclub, looking at form and selective colour. Week 3 http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/21068/bw-book-club-week-3-feb-10-16

Thank you for looking, you're all superstars and thank you for the fantastic response to Love Actually yesterday. You're all wonderful

I love how you have used this figure to express emotion. It has worked really well. You have really stepped up your photo techniques and abilities since we first followed each other. I have been enjoying your shots. I have stepped back quite a bit but am now trying to look at processing and the challenges for learning. It's just a job fitting everything in!

@jennywren Thanks Jen - I haven't stopped taking pictures, and I've been taking part in challenges on Flickr, so I guess I have moved on a lot. I played around with this mannequin last winter too
