Admittedly this is not a great capture. But I wanted to take a picture at Weight Watchers this morning, and cameras aren't exactly the most welcome things at WW meetings. So I quickly snapped this picture of the desk before my weigh-in this morning.
I figure that part of this project is to create a record of the important things in one's life, and Weight Watchers is definitely important to me. Being at goal weight has given me a sense of accomplishment and self-confidence, and has allowed me to do all sorts of amazing things (such as running the New York City Marathon!). I have been within two pounds of my goal weight since the spring of 2009, and was .6 of a pound above goal this morning (not bad considering what I ate and drank on New Year's Eve!). I hope to keep the streak of free monthly weigh-ins going throughout 2011 (and beyond).
Hopefully, over time, I'll be as successful with my photography as I have been with my weight-loss and weight-maintenance efforts.
Congrats on being at goal weight. I will be going back to WW this week. I'm lifetime, but I've put back on 20 lbs. Figured I'd go back before it gets out of hand again.
