My son's 18th birthday was yesterday, and we continued the celebration today with lunch at Sushi Palace - http://sushipalace.net/home It's one of our favorite local restaurants. It's all-you-can-eat, but not buffet - you order what you want, and assuming you're not just wasting food you can keep on ordering more dishes. There are kitchen entrees as well as sushi and sashami, and it's all made to order.
I brought my Nikon D60 to the restaurant, and took a lot of pictures, both with and without flash. I wasn't particularly happy with my shots, but with some quick and dirty editing I felt that this on was acceptable. In all fairness, the lighting inside the restaurant isn't ideal for shooting. But still, I want to learn how to take better pictures here.
Hopefully later in the year I'll go back to Sushi Palace and take some better pictures. I'll consider this a "Before" shot.
