I didn't run the Rutgers Half Marathon this year, but I did attend the festivities. A lot of my friends ran the race, so I decided to volunteer there. By volunteering I helped out my group, the Racey Women, and it allowed me to see my friends in action.
I volunteered at the start line, so that I could be done before my friends crossed the finish line. I got to the finish line early, and took this picture of the race medals that were ready to be distributed. Of all the shots I took this morning, this one was my favorite.
