Last year, my husband and I purchased this sculpture of Tug McGraw from the Tug McGraw Foundation ( http://tugmcgraw.org/about/default.asp ). It was created by sculptor Clete Shields, and we love how it really captures Tug's essence.
This morning I decided to play around a bit with my flash. I have a lot to learn about shooting in manual with flash. Just like the pictures that I took for this project in January and February likely won't be acceptable to me in October or November, I figure that the flash pictures I take now will be unacceptable by November. But I'm making a lot of strides forward with my photography, and being able to take this picture with flash is definitely a baby step in the right direction.
