When we visited Bermuda three years ago, my husband bought me the red glass rose at the Dockyards Glassworks ( http://www.dockglass.com/ ), near where our ship was docked. When we arrived home we put it in this little white vase that was from our wedding reception. He said that every time we go back there he'd buy me another glass rose.
When we were in Bermuda last week, we visited the Dockyards Glassworks again. We settled upon this little blue rose to go with the red one.
The next time we visit, I want to pick up a white rose. This way we can have a red, white and blue bouquet of Bermuda roses, which is something that I would find special and amusing.
