This morning I thought I would try my hand at street photography at the farmer's market. This was a little scarier than shooting in the car dealership waiting room, because I knew I was more likely to run into people who know me (and, in fact, I did run into a couple of people there). But I got over myself, and had some fun shooting. I would take a lot of shots of things on display, just so that people wouldn't notice me suddenly shooting people every now and then.
Ironically, my favorite shot of the day was the first portrait that I took. I was able to get pretty close to this lady, and I like the focus, her expression, and how the light is streaming down onto her.
Normally I favor black and white for street photography, but with this shot I preferred the sepia effect - I think it makes the light on the tomatoes stand out more than the black and white does.
