University Medical Center at Princeton

I was in Princeton today, and decided to take a picture of the University Medical Center at Princeton.

I've been here several times in the sixteen years that I've lived in New Jersey; usually for routine kinds of things, but also this is where my youngest child was born. It's in downtown Princeton, which is about a 10-15 minute drive from my house. I remember being on the sidewalk in front of the hospital in 1996 to watch the Olympic torch go by en route to Atlanta; good times...

Anyway, there is a new hospital being built. The new building is actually in Plainsboro, which will amuse fans of the TV series House (there actually will be a Princeton-Plainsboro hospital now, even if that won't be its official name ). This property will be sold, and it's likely the hospital will be torn down. Thus, I wanted to take the building's picture today, while I had the opportunity to do so. I wanted an image of a soon-to-be-ex-building that has been a part of my life here in New Jersey.
I like your composition

Kerri - Thanks. I shot the hospital from several angles, but this is the one that I will remember the most fondly.

Yes - I wanted a photo for posterity.

If I want to see the hospital where Connor was born (the old part of Roosevelt Hospital that was torn down in 1993), I have to watch old episodes of Seinfeld.

@sharonlc ~ the hospitals where both my kids were born are still around, maybe I should get pictures just in case!
