Obviously my Nikon D7000 is my primary camera. But sometimes you need a point and shoot.
For the last couple of years I used a pink Nikon S560 when I needed something small. But I coveted something smaller, so I gave the little pink camera to my daughter and bought a Nikon S5100 last spring. The S5100 was good for the most part, but would do things like turn itself on in my purse and transfer images from the memory stick to the internal memory. Ultimately, I decided that the S5100 wasn't up to the beating that I like to give my point and shoots.
Anyway, I received a Best Buy gift card and some money for my birthday, so I decided to spend it on this red Nikon S4100. It seems durable, and it's as small as the S5100. The touch screen on the back will take some getting used to, but for the most part I think this will serve my needs well.
I'll test it out in nine days when I run the Rock 'n' Roll New York 10K. I'll carry this little red camera in my pocket, and hopefully I'll get a couple of good shots on the course.
Thanks Kerri :)
Thanks Michelle.
Sometimes you just need something very portable.
