I took it to the jeweler on Saturday. They told me that it would probably take a week to repair it, perhaps two. So I was pleasantly surprised to get a message yesterday that my ring was ready.
Our plan is to eventually buy a two-toned gold ring that I can wear for everyday knocking around purposes. But for now I'm happy to have my ring back, and I'll wear it proudly (and VERY carefully!).
Yes - I'm very happy with the job, and happy to have it back so quickly :)
