I went for my monthly Weight Watchers weigh-in this morning. I'm up a little - .8 of a pound above goal weight. Considering everything that I consumed over Thanksgiving Weekend, I'll take it.
More importantly, though, is that Weight Watchers allows Lifetime Members to weigh-in each month for free if 1) You haven't missed a month; and 2) You are within two pounds of goal weight. This marks the 33rd consecutive month that I have been able to weigh-in for free.
Losing the weight took a lot of work, but maintaining the loss also takes constant vigilance. I am very proud of this achievement.
When I reached goal weight, I got this tattoo of the Weight Watchers logo on my wrist as my reward and my reminder - my reward for getting to goal, and reminder not to pull a Kirstie Alley (whose fluctuations are downright frightening!). It is serving its purpose - it is a visual cue that keeps me in check and gives me continued incentive to keep on doing the work it takes to maintain my loss.
Thanks Kerri :)
