I've written about the saga of my broken anniversary band and its repairs ( http://365project.org/sharonlc/365/2011-11-18 ). Apparently, because I had to resize it a couple of times, the structure of the band had been compromised and makes it more vulnerable to being broken easily.
I had gotten to the point of being afraid to wear the ring on a daily basis, which defeated the point of having the band in the first place. So my husband and I went shopping, and I was able to find a replacement. I wanted a two-toned gold band (so that I could wear it with anything) without any stones (so I can be my klutzy self without having to worry about losing any more stones), and we found this one.
I can wear this at work. I can wear this when I run. I can wear this when I sleep. I love having a ring that I can wear every day without worrying about it.
