This ship is located in Jordan Harbour Ontario. I've passed this ship so many times as it is located right beside the Queen Elizabeth Way, I finally decided to stop and investigate. Just beyond the break wall is one of the great lakes, Lake Ontario
This was once a restaurant ship in Toronto. It was then towed across the lake to Jordan but the project ran out of money and the ship was abandoned. It was originally covered in wood but vandals set it on fire and now just the steel structure is left. Braces have been installed on the side to prevent it from falling over. It has been sitting here for close to 30 years.
Nice rusty image its a shame but that seems to be the way people come up with the ideas but dont work out the cost, money runs out and then they are left to rot away.fav
