All my roses are old fashion heirloom varieties, not hardy or traditionally rose-shaped. But today I spotted a new bud on this David Austin rose looking like it belongs in one of those long-stemmed dozens at the florist. Believe it or not, later it will develop fully double cup-shaped blooms with 60+ petals.
