Attempting to become a morning person

Over the weekend I went to the gym for the first time in a few weeks, and I was reminded how much a good workout can lift my mood. Unfortunately, it's very difficult to squeeze in gym time in the evenings, which is when I'd prefer to work out. I am generally useless in the morning, but today I dragged myself out of bed an hour early for some cardio. Let's see if I can keep it up...
