The night we ate pigeon

Tonight we drove out to the San Gabriel Valley for a Chinese food feast. The most interesting dish -- and one of this restaurant's specialties -- was the roasted squab or, pigeon. I'm not the most adventurous eater but I tried this one, and it was quite delicious.
Are those seriously pigeon heads???
