We were wandering through the East Village and stumbled upon an old guy sitting outside on E. 7th Street. The place he was sitting in front of looked cool so we tried to show him our IDs thinking it was a bar and he was the bouncer. Turns out it was his HOUSE. He was letting people in to look at all his knick knacks, and he was sitting outside just to chat with people walking by on the street. Moments like this remind me of why I love NYC.
